Lying at the top of a beautiful tidal estuary, Kingsbridge is a small town in the centre of the South Hams, with an attractive main street (excellent shops, good pubs, old buildings) and waterfront with sailing and motor boats, leading down to the sea at Salcombe. There is a tremendous variety of beautiful places and things to see and do within 5 or 6 miles. Nearby are the historic ports of Plymouth and Dartmouth, and the rugged beauty of Dartmoor. Kingsbridge is an ideal centre to plan a holiday from!
