Our farm is set in a beautiful part of the South Hams in South Devon. It is within easy reach of the Devon Expressway, and from here you can explore the area with its many beaches, interesting and historic towns, and Dartmoor, with its rugged landscape is only a mile away. For those who wish to travel a little further, the Eden Project is 1 1/2 hours drive away, making it an easy day trip.
Our house has magnificent views of the surrounding countryside, which is very traditional South Devon farmland, with high stone and earth-built banks, which we call hedges! In spring they are smothered with primroses, which later give way to campion, cow parsley, stitchwort and meadowsweet to name a few.
Our three bedrooms are decorated and appointed to a high standard, with tea-making facilities and TVs in each. Two are en-suite and one has a private bathroom, these are all a generous size, and all have a bath and separate walk-in shower. There is a guest sitting room with TV and video player, and a woodburner for chilly evenings.
The Breakfast room has views of the garden and the farm, and particularly on sunny days makes for an inspiring start!
Many of the items offered for breakfast are organic and/or homemade.
Almost everything is grown, bought or produced locally.We have lived here for 35 years now, and have created a warm and friendly place to holiday or take a break. Many of our guests return again and again, and have become friends of the family.
