Lower Collaton Farm is a traditional farmhouse, comfortably furnished, dating back to Domesday, where a small flock of pedigree Shetland sheep graze in the fields. | The spacious Master Bedroom and the light and airy Sunlit Bedroom are both doubles, and the Garden Bedroom and Courtyard Bedroom are twin bedded. The Garden Bedroom is on the ground floor with easy access for the less mobile, and the Courtyard Bedroom has a bath as well as a shower. |

Breakfast is taken round a mahogany table in what used to be the old dairy. The mouthwatering menu includes freshly baked bread, eggs from the hens in the yard, sausages and bacon from Luscombes of Totnes (suppliers to the New Angel), home made marmalade, yoghurt and jams, or, for the adventurous, locally smoked haddock with poached egg is the perfect way to start the day!
Lower Collaton is an ideal base for exploring this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Beautiful coastal and moorland walks are a short drive away, as are the gardens of Greenaway and Coleton Fishacre. Award winning beaches such as Blackpool Sands are just six miles away. |
